Throughout my career
I've had incredible opportunities to work as a Designer and create
communications for companies in diverse industries ranging from
real estate, insurance, fashion, advertising
agencies, healthcare, children's theatre and throughout the 90's
successful high tech companies in both Waterloo and
Atlanta, Georgia.
Where ever
I have lived, I am always fortunate to find and
develop relationships with quality printers, photographers and
other artists. As most of you know, there is nothing more
satisfying then collaborating with other craftspeople to create
the best possible.

With my affinity for the lore and charm of the southern
United States and the Caribbean, it's no wonder I named my
studio after the greatest "welcome" icon of all time - the
pineapple. And...with a little stretch of the imagination maybe
you too can relate small business owners to sea-faring captains.

It is said that when English sailors
went out to sea
their wives
were not permitted to have visitors. When the man of the
house
returned from his sea-faring ventures he would spear a pineapple
onto the fence post signifying to his neighbors
that all were again welcome.
This
Colonial tradition inspired the use of pineapple carvings
on fence posts and railings - as a
sign of welcome and hospitality across Europe, the New Americas,
and the
Caribbean.
